Teresa Mo: 3+2 Steps towards a Health Lifestyle
Though over 60, Teresa Mo maintains a radiant appearance, earning her the nickname "ageless Moje". She has posted and featured in numerous videos on the health channel, HiEggo, and her own YouTube channel, MoMoments, which have garnered widespread attention and fan support.
Today, we'll summarize all the health tips Teresa Mo has shared, from food choices and dietary habits to the importance of sleep and exercise. Let's learn how to live a healthy life like Teresa Mo!
1. Food
Avoid processed and refined oils: For example, vegetable oil and seed oil are readily available and inexpensive, but their harmful effects on the body are significant, potentially causing inflammation and even cancer.
Olive oil: High-quality olive oil is perfect for salad dressings, and paired with Balsamic vinegar for a delicious bread dip. While olive oil is not recommended for cooking (due to its low smoke point), it is an excellent choice for raw foods.
Avocado oil and coconut oil: Avocado oil has a high flash point, making it suitable for both Western and Chinese cuisines, and it doesn't risk producing harmful substances at high temperatures. On the other hand, coconut oil isn't suitable for cooking due to the taste, but is a great addition in curries.
Ghee: Extracted from milk, it has a high smoke point and is suitable for both Western and Chinese cuisine, especially when frying your eggs.

Allulose: A sweetener derived from plants and fruits, it doesn't trigger an insulin spike and is a healthy sugar substitute.

Sourdough bread: For those who can't eat bread, sourdough is a great option. 20-50 grams daily, combined with unsalted butter, can effectively reduce the sugar and starch burden.

Vegetables First: If you want to avoid weight gain but don't want to exercise, eat vegetables before each meal to slow down carbohydrate absorption.
2. Exercise
The Golden Half Hour: Avoid sitting after meals. Walking for 30 minutes is particularly effective for reducing belly fat in the long run.
Strength Training: This helps build muscle strength, improve balance and flexibility, thereby reducing the risk of falls and improving quality of life.

3. Sleep
8 hours of sleep minimum: Getting enough sleep helps your body recover and boosts your immune system. Regular exercise is a key factor in ensuring good sleep.
Supplements: such as magnesium glycinate, can help improve sleep quality, but it's best to consult a doctor before taking them.
