FAQs
How often should I wash the InnoShield mask and how should I wash it?
Due to its strong antiviral, anti-odour and moisture wicking functions, the InnoShield does not require daily washing. We recommend you to wash it every 5-7 days, unless there are dirt stains like food or makeup, or you’ve sweat a lot while wearing it.
The best way to wash the InnoShield is a quick hand wash with tap water. Hand soap is not a must as the mask already has strong antiviral functions.
After wash, hang it up somewhere with good air circulation for a few hours and it will be able to dry quickly.
You are allowed to machine wash it, but we advise not to, as the constant rough contact inside the washing machine could damage the adjusters on the ear loop.
DO NOT dry clean or use bleach.
How long should I keep the InnoShield before replacing it with a new one?
We have tested the InnoShield, proving that it can still maintain its antiviral functions after a minimum of 500 washes. If we do the math, 500 washes x 5-7 days per wash, means the InnoShield can last for at least 5-7 years.
Why might the bio-degradable bag tear or the mask exhibit a white powdery substance?
This is because our bio-degradable packaging is really quite bio-degradable, able to bio-degrade in 3 years. The bio-degradable bag might leave some white powder (degrading material from the bag), but don’t worry, a wipe or wash of the mask should be able to get everything off.
