As Omicron continues to spread in Hong Kong, you might be wondering whether you should be double masking like the experts have advised.
Microbiologist, professor and government advisor Yuen Kwok-yung said “citizens can wear two surgical masks at a time to increase air filtration and protect themselves against the highly contagious Omicron Covid variant,” while the CDC’s website also recommends adding an extra layer on top of your usual disposable mask for extra protection.
